About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare engaging lesson plans based on the school curriculum.
- Teach literacy, numeracy, science, social studies, creative arts, and other subjects.
- Conduct regular assessments and monitor academic progress.
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support pupils' physical, emotional, social, and moral growth.
- Supervise pupils during lessons, breaks, and school activities.
- Maintain regular communication about pupils' progress and behaviour.
- Organize and support assemblies, clubs, excursions, sports, and special events.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, punctuality, and commitment.
Requirements
- A minimum of an NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education) or a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- A genuine passion for teaching and caring for children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good classroom management and discipline.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Creativity in lesson planning and teaching methods.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use educational technology.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of one year teaching experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with children.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Creativity and problem-solving ability.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic ICT skills for teaching and record-keeping.
