About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development & Growth Manager to lead KalosHR’s employer acquisition efforts in Nigeria. This person will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with decision-makers, pitching the platform, closing new business, and helping employers successfully onboard onto KalosHR.

This role is ideal for someone who understands B2B SaaS, HR tech, recruitment, or SME sales in Nigeria and can confidently sell a practical business solution to founders, HR managers, recruiters, and operations leads.

What You Will Do

  • Identify, target, and engage SMEs, startups, recruitment agencies, and growing companies in Nigeria that are actively hiring
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects through outbound outreach, referrals, partnerships, events, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email, and direct sales activity
  • Book and run product demos for employers and hiring teams
  • Clearly communicate KalosHR’s value proposition and show how the platform helps companies simplify hiring, reduce admin stress, and manage applicants better
  • Convert qualified leads into paying customers and drive employer onboarding onto the platform
  • Build relationships with HR leads, founders, business owners, recruiters, and operations managers
  • Develop local partnerships with HR communities, business networks, recruitment consultants, startup ecosystems, and relevant associations
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and move deals across the sales funnel from first contact to close
  • Support new customers during onboarding to ensure successful setup and early usage
  • Gather feedback from prospects and customers to help improve positioning, messaging, pricing, and product development
  • Track outreach, pipeline, meetings, conversions, and revenue targets using CRM or agreed reporting tools
  • Represent KalosHR in the Nigerian market and help shape our go-to-market execution locally

  • Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years experience in business development, B2B sales, growth, partnerships, employer acquisition, or SaaS sales
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment, especially SMEs and growing companies
  • Experience selling to founders, HR teams, recruiters, or operations managers
  • Proven ability to generate leads, nurture prospects, and close deals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident presenter who can run demos and explain product value clearly
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working remotely and taking ownership of targets
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and move fast
  • Familiarity with recruitment, HR tech, SaaS, job boards, staffing, or workforce solutions is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable using CRM tools, spreadsheets, LinkedIn, email outreach tools, and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp
