About the Role
We are an established and expanding company in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, committed to delivering quality services and strengthening our presence in both local and international markets. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and experienced Business Development Executive to help drive business expansion, secure strategic partnerships, and position the company for greater global visibility.
Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
• Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing business relationships.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with the company's growth objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
• Prepare business proposals, bids, and presentations for prospective clients and projects.
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful deal closures.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Provide regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and revenue performance.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of active sales/business development experience, specifically within the lubricants, downstream oil & gas, or industrial chemical sectors in Nigeria.
Network: A pre-existing network of distributors, major mechanic associations, or industrial procurement managers in Lagos/South-West is highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian oil and gas industry, with an established professional network considered an advantage.
Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship management, corporate presentation, and strategic closing skills.
Mobility: Must be willing to travel frequently for client site visits and field market activations.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software for pipeline tracking.
Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, win contracts, and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian oil and gas industry, with an established professional network considered an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a target-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM software is an added advantage.
Benefits
Compensation: 250,000naira net with commission,HMO and other benefits
